In this image, it looks much more #fishy, with dorsal, pectoral, pelvic, adipose, caudal and anal fins

I marked it as a #Fish although it hasn't been confirmed by the scientists.

    What about a bent #Shrimp?

No I think @kirstenr is right. Looks very much like a fish

Yeah, but @jo.irisson is a fish expert and didn't agree with a Fish ID. When you look at the neighbouring frame, there is no fish head, but

a round end which reminds of a bent Shrimp, but we didn't decide what it is.

I think all will classify it as a fish, esp. if no one can disprove it and it looks tasty enough to eat with tarter.

The other one was not very clear but on this one it's difficult to say anything else than fish. Still some things don't really match.

What you think is the dorsal fin (top side on this image) is way to far on the body

  • jo.irisson by jo.irisson translator, scientist

and seems to match the bottom "fin" which is also misplaced for a pelvic fin

So overall, it'll be classified as fish, for sure, but really... ????

So if not a fish what is it?

  • yshish by yshish moderator, translator

I'm for a Shrimp-like crustacean in an escaping posture.. but I may be very wrong (Not sure what @jo.irisson 's point was)

But there is not a hint of leg or tentacle in any example given, they are all fin. 😕

That's why it is so hard to ID 😦
