  These are more opaque parts of its filter, probably because of accumulated particles in those. It'll have to leave the house soon!

  Nice larvacean house : the two opaque things on the left end are the inlet filters of the house, the one on the right side is a copepod

  copepods often like to eat on particles accumulated in and on appendicularian/larvacean houses
