Beautiful small star-like organism on the left side, 2/3 from the top.

Is it a medusa or not? I mark them as morethan4

I marked it as a morethan4, too. And on the right is my first #ephyrae ! Two objects look like dark radiolarian - are they?

One on the left above the medusa, and the other in upper right (actually hard to find). Not sure if they'd be that small.

They are most probably some spiky protists, may be radiolarians but I'm not familiar with their species 😕

I mentioned in a comment on another image that I see a lot of them. So, probably cute protists & no need to mark. Thanks!

Thanks! @LombardFabien 😃 Great to have you here! (We missed someone who would be able to ID these awesome guys!)

No need to mark those indeed. I think @Collodaria could ID all those too.

Is this an ephyra or does it have short tentacles?

  • yshish by yshish moderator, translator

Yes, it is an #ephyra (btw, @suzeroo was mentioning it in the comments below:))

I saw her comment, but I also see short tentacles. I wanted to confirm.
