Does this count as a radiolarian colony, or not because it's missing a distinct outer shell?

I discussed that with the scientists a few times and the final answer was they're not Radiolarians but other Protists. So we don't mark them

These often appear in such clumps.You can tell them apart from Radiolarians since the clump isn't as nicely shaped and miss the distinct
