    Can you see how its body resembles the saucer shape of a medusa? the "lobes" are facing upper right. Absolutely incredible find!

    The Thalasso is monospecific (one species only) group of ctenophore. They resemble and forage very much like lobates

    Thalasso is shaped like a "shower cap" and is usually quite transparent with these characteristic, (beautiful) internal lines

    The shower cap shape is somewhat malliable. They can appear 'loose' like this or rigid like a dome
