Can you figure out what the circle with a ring around it is? I can't. Is it just a random thing that isn't plankton, or is it something else? HELP!

Yes, we can. It is a kind of a #Protist. There are many various kind of Protists, they can vary in shape and size, they can appear in colonies or as a single organism, they can have spikes or even a halo around, they can be transparent or opaque, they can have patterns.. 😃 But we only mark Radiolarians in this project (single ones in the MED and colonies in both CAL and MED datasets). You can ignore all the other ones like the one in this frame.
