Larvaceans in houses

  I have stumbled upon larvaceans still inside their houses on several occasions. If so, do I mark both? That somtimes leads to quite messy piles of icons and arrows.
  Secondly, is the attitude of the arrow from marking the larvacean house important? And if so, where should it face?
